Jaya Prada is regarded as one of the most accomplished and talented actresses in Indian cinema. The actress has a keen interest in politics and joined the Telugu Desam Party in 1994. Later, she became a member of Parliament from Rampur, Uttar Pradesh from 2004 to 2014 as a Samajwadi Party candidate. Now, it has been found that the former actress has found herself in trouble. According to reports, a court has ordered the police to arrest Jaya Prada for the violation of the election code of conduct in 2019.
Jaya Prada was named in two cases in 2019 where it was alleged that she violated the code of conduct of the elections. It was reported that she took part in the inauguration of a road, which is against the election code of conduct. Even a video of the actress inaugurating the road went viral. Two cases were filed against her. It was reported that the prosecution testimony was already complete, and she had to give her statement. But despite multiple dates given to her, she didn’t come to court.
Until now, seven non-bailable arrest warrants have been issued against her. That’s why the court has now ordered the police to arrest Jaya Prada and has instructed the police to present her in front of the court on February 27.
