The first Deadpool 3 teaser has officially been released at the Super Bowl 2024 and it promises to change the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman starrer teaser has revealed that Deadpool 3 has been titled Deadpool & Wolverine. The trailer not only revisits the characters who made the Deadpool franchise but also introduces Deadpool and Wolverine in the current MCU timeline. To top it off, the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer also gives a nod to X-Men.
The trailer opens with the OG Deadpool cast celebrating Wade Wilson’s birthday when he has a surprise visitor. Wade opens the door and is greeted by the TVA, an epic nod to Loki. He is then seen seated in front of Paradox, played by Matthew Macfadyen. Paradox offers Deadpool to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, giving him a glimpse of Marvel Studios’ previous superheroes, including Captain America, Thor and Iron Man.
Reynolds’ Deadpool hilariously calls himself as Marvel’s ‘Jesus’ and opens the door for numerous X-Men references and a dig at Nick Fury before Hugh Jackman’s Logan aka Wolverine makes an entry. Watch the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer released at Super Bowl 2024 here:
