As per reports, five shows of the film will be screened between 9 am on July 26 to 2 am the next day.

Dhanush is one of India’s multi-hyphenated personalities who has primarily worked in Tamil cinema. He is a producer, director, lyricist, playback singer and also an excellent actor. Currently, the actor is gearing up for the release of his milestone 50th film, Raayan. As per the recent updates, the actor’s film is all set to be screened for special shows on the day of release, which is expected to set the cash registers ringing.

Dhanush’s milestone 50th film, Raayan is set to premiere on Friday. Amid this, the Tamil Nadu government on Wednesday permitted Sun Pictures to screen special shows of the upcoming film on the opening day. As per reports, five shows of the film will be screened between 9 am on July 26 to 2 am the next day.

Five shows of Raayan can be screened between 9 am on July 26 (Friday) to 2 am the following day. The producers, Sun Pictures, had requested permission to screen special shows on Friday. In Bengaluru, the shows are scheduled to start at 6 am.

Raayan is directed by Dhanush and will star him in the lead. The action-packed revenge drama also features S. J. Suryah, Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Saravanan. The music is scored by maestro AR Rahman. It is one of the highly anticipated Tamil films of the year. The film has been certified A by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

The special approval from the Tamil Nadu government could mean that the film might witness a major boost in its box office numbers. It could also make Raayan Dhanush’s one of the highest-grossing films right on day one. The film has already secured a wide number of screens across the states. Meanwhile, due to the addition of the special screening in the morning, the state government has urged theatres to ensure proper arrangements and prevent any overcrowding.

On the work front, Dhanush also has Kubera in the pipeline. It is backed by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under their banner Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP in association with Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd.
