Director Yadhu Vamsi On Committee Kurrollu: 'It Includes My Personal Experiences'

Niharika Konidela’s maiden production Committee Kurrollu is slated to release on August 9. It is written and directed by debutant Yadhu Vamsi. The film is produced under the banner of Pink Elephant Pictures and Shree Radha Damodar Studios. The film stars Sandeep Saroj, Yaswanth Pendyala, Eshawr Rachiraju, Trinadh Varma, Prasad Behara, Manikanta Parasu, Raadhya and others in the lead roles.

The music of the film is composed by Anudeep Dev. The maker has already released the trailer and songs of the film. Touted to be based on friendship and election in the village, the director Yadhu Vamsi shared insights into the making of this special project.

The director Yadhu Vamsi said that he has tried to make an indie film. Talking about his debut, the director said that he had no experience with production before. He visited numerous production houses with the script before Niharika Konidela accepted the film under her production banner. Inspired by the vibrant village fairs of his childhood, Yadhu Vamsi wrote a story that resonated with the experiences of his childhood in the village.

“I have written this story based on the fair held in my village. It has everyone’s story. Every boy’s story can be seen in it. This includes my personal experiences,” said Yadhu Vamsi. While talking about the involvement of Niharika Konidela in the film as a producer, the director said that he wanted to thank the actress for the opportunity and unwavering support.

“The belief in her vision highlights her dedication. She provided me with all the necessary resources and creative freedom, it allowed me to bring my story to life with authenticity,” said the director. Committee Kurrollu director added that he has a lot of faith in the story. He claimed that he drew the inspiration for the film from Jayaparakash Narayana and Pawan Kalyan. The film explores the profound bond between a mother and her children, a theme that will resonate deeply with audiences.

The director claimed that he did workshops to connect emotionally with everyone on the set. Chiranjeevi saw the movie and said that everyone acted brilliantly. The film was shot in Konaseema district of Andhra Pradesh. The cinematography has been done by Edurolu Raju. Yadhu Vamsi revealed that he is currently working on a horror thriller story for his next film.
