Farah Khan Reveals Pooja Bedi's Skirt Scene Went Wrong in Pehla Nasha: 'First Time I Saw a Thong'
Farah Khan shared a jaw-dropping anecdote about Pooja Bedi's iconic Marilyn Monroe style scene from Pehla Nasha.

Farah Khan revealed Pooja Bedi revealed more than she intended to during the first take of the skirt scene in Pehla Nasha. In a recent interview, Farah revisited the making of the song — which marked her debut as a choreographer in the film industry — and said that in the first shot of the Marilyn Monroe inspired shot resulted in Pooja exposing her thong.

Pehla Nasha was a part of the film Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar. Farah was brought on board of the film after Saroj Khan walked out, thus making her debut as a choreographer in Bollywood. The song starred Aamir Khan, Pooja Bedi and Ayesha Jhulka. In the music video, Pooja got on the bonnet of a car and recreated the iconic Marilyn Monroe moment.

While the moment looks beautiful in the song, Farah told Radio Nasha that in the first take, Pooja forgot to hold her skirt and it flew about her head. The fan boy who was seated below the car to help with the shot ‘fainted’ in the moment. “Usko gadi ke uper khada hona tha, vo skirt hum logo ne Marilyn Monroe ka dress pehnaya tha usko. Pooja being Pooja, she is bindaas, so she climbed up aur neeche ek bada fan rakh ke ek spot boy aise baitha tha," Farah recalled.

“Mai ne Pooja ko bola tha ki jab fan aayega na toh Pooja ko kaha tha aise Merilyn Monoroe pose mein aise haath rkh ke skirt pakad le. So first jaise fan on hua Pooja ne pakda nai vo poora skirt gaya uske sir ke uper, spot boy faint hogya udher. And that is the first time I saw what a thong looks like," the filmmaker added.
