Esha Gupta was the only Indian actress, who was invited to the UEFA Euro 2024 Final between Spain and England. The Euro Cup final was played at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Sunday, July 14, with Spain lifting the coveted trophy for the record 4th time. Among a sea of supporters, the Bollywood actress also showed her immense admiration for the sport and Spain. Bonus: Esha’s unexpected collaboration with the German boy band Elevator Boys. Esha Gupta also met former German footballer Sami Khedira and skiing world champion Aleksander Aamodt Kilde at the EURO Final.
Speaking to the Hindustan Times, Esha Gupta opened up about meeting esteemed sports personalities. She added, “I met Sami Khedira, one of the legends in football, a great person. We also met Aleksander Aamodt Kilde, he’s one of the World champions in skiing, absolutely amazing he is. We all exchanged great stories and heard about each other experiences. They were really nice and humble guys.”
Esha Gupta also spoke about the video with Elevator Boys. The actress said that she enjoyed the entire game with the boys when they approached her for a TikTok video. “They are all such nice, sweet boys and talented. They are Germans, and unfortunately, Germany wasn’t in the finals, but they were supporting Spain with me,” she added. Esha also said that her niece was the happiest, as she is their big fan.
Esha Gupta added, “It was great. I’m glad that they invited all the people who follow the sport or are amazing athletes in their own field. They called me in the capacity of a Bollywood actor but someone who knows the sport, which makes it even better as I was surrounded by all the fans, and the emotions were high.”

“I was representing the industry as someone who knows the game, not just as a celebrity. That is a good representation, and we get respect,” she said.
