Ananya Panday will be seen setting the stage ablaze with her performance at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2024. The grand award ceremony is set to be held from September 27 to 29 at the Etihad Arena in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. On Thursday night, the actress was snapped at the Mumbai airport jetting off to Abu Dhabi in a casual yet chic outfit. Several pictures and videos of the Dream Girl 2 actress surfaced on social media.
In one such video shared by the popular paparazzo, Viral Bhayani, the actress is seen getting out of her car and entering the airport premises when she gets swarmed by photographers. She wore a black top paired with dark brown jeans and tied her tresses in a neat bun. The actress was seen holding a luxurious sling bag.
Apart from Ananaya, celebs like Varun Dhawan, Shahid Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Kriti Sanon, Janvhi Kapoor and the legendary actress Rekha will also be seen setting the stage on fire with their electrifying dance moves at the IIFA 2024.
Notably, this year the IIFA Awards 2024 will see superstar Shah Rukh Khan as the main host alongside ace filmmaker Karan Johar. Fans are already excited after witnessing the duo’s fun banter during the IIFA press conference earlier this month in Mumbai. During the event, SRK humourously teased Karan and said, “Bhai, picture bhi bana na… kitna host karega tu?” Karan, ever the good sport, laughed it off.
However, several reports suggest that superstar Salman Khan will also be seen joining SRK on the stage.
Talking about Ananya, the actress recently made her digital debut with the web series Call Me Bae. Directed by Collin D’Cunah and backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the series also starred Varun Sood, Gurfateh Pirzada, Vir Das, Muskkaan Jaaferi and Niharika Dutt in lead roles. It premiered on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video and garnered positive reviews from fans and critics.
She will be next seen in director Vikramaditya Motwane’s cyber-thriller film CTRL which is set to premiere on Netflix on October 4 and in Call Me Bae Season 2.
