Inside Edge Fame Tanuj Virwani Undergoes Shoulder Surgery, Wife Tanya Shares Health Update

Actor Tanuj Virwani, known for his role in web series Inside Edge, recently dislocated his left shoulder while playing cricket. On Tuesday, Tanuj’s wife Tanya Jacob took to her husband’s social media handle and informed fans about the accident. She also shared the actor’s health update. Sharing a picture on Instagram, in which the Yodha actor could be seen lying on the hospital’s bed with his parents and wife by his side, Tanya wrote, “It’s been a pretty volatile past 48 hours for us as a family and we wanted to set the record straight as there are a bunch of completely untrue, unsubstantiated stories floating around about the reason why my husband is in hospital right now.”

Tanya added that while playing cricket on Sunday night, Tanuj’s shoe slipped over a small puddle due to which the actor lost his balance and fell on his left shoulder. “As a lot of you who follow Tanuj are aware, he loves playing cricket and Sunday night was no different. While batting he took off for a run and was turning back to acknowledge his batting partner when his shoe skid over a small puddle and he slipped landing directly on his left shoulder,” the caption read.

Tanya further noted that the actor has sustained acromioclavicular joint dislocation along with a ligament tear due to which he had to undergo shoulder surgery. “A steel plate has been inserted along with AC joint reconstruction,” she continued.

Sharing her husband’s health update, Tanya stated that his surgery was successful but it would take him time to recover completely. “All your Prayers and Good Wishes are welcome during this trying time,” the post concluded.

Soon after Tanya dropped the post, the comment section was flooded with reactions from fans and celebs, wishing for the actor’s speedy recovery. TV actress Pavitra Punia commented, “Get well soon bro. Healings.” Actress Ridhima Pandit wrote, “Arre yaaa mann. Wishing you a speedy recovery T.” Actor Sahil Satish Vaid shared, “Yo!! Get well soon man.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Tanuj is currently hosting reality show MTV Splitsvilla X5 alongside Sunny Leone.
