Karan Johar Calls Akshay Kumar-Tiger Shroff's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan A 'Must-Watch'
Produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has minted Rs 36.33 crore worldwide on its opening day.

Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer action thriller film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan opened to mixed responses from the audience and the critics. Bollywood celebs including director Siddharth Anand and actress Genelia D’Souza recently heaped praises on the film. Now, filmmaker Karan Johar also joined in and showered appreciation on the Akshay-Tiger starrer, calling it a “must watch”.

KJo shared a poster of the film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan on his Instagram story and captioned it, “A must watch festive bonanza! With action on the highest and the hugest level. The 2 miyas make for a rocking duo!!! @akshaykumar @tigerjackieshroff.” Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film also starred Prthiviraj Sukumaran, Manushi Chillar, Sonakshi Sinha and Alaya F in pivotal roles.

Produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has minted Rs 36.33 crore worldwide on its opening day. While announcing the film’s first day collection, Jackky shared a post captioning, “#BadeMiyanChoteMiyan conquering your hearts and the box office in true REAL ACTION style”

The film marked the first on-screen collaboration of Akshay and Tiger and faced a big Bollywood clash with Ajay Devgn’s sports biopic, Maidaan.

Talking about their upcoming projects, Akshay will be next seen in Sarfira. It is an official Hindi remake of the National Award winning film Soorarai Pottru, which starred South actor Suriya in the lead role.

Apart from this, the Khiladi actor also has Sky Force, Khel Khel Mein, Housefull 5, Singham Again and the multi-starrer Welcome..To The Jungle in his kitty.

Tiger, on the other hand, will be next seen in the fourth instalment of his hit franchise Baaghi, and he will also be seen joining director Rohit Shetty’s cop universe, Singham Again.

Talking about KJo, his last directorial was Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which starred Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi in the crucial roles. While the film received good responses from the audience, the director is yet to announce his upcoming project.
