Karan Johar On Kangana Ranaut's Controversy: No Regrets For What I Said
In the interview, Karan also spilled some beans on his recent fatherhood, his sexuality and other accusations that made their way in his personal and professional front yard.

Karan Johar hasn't had enough of his Kangana Ranaut controversy, it seems. The director once again talked about his infamous Koffee With Karan Season 5 episode and Kangana Ranaut's "flag bearer of nepotism" remark. In a conversation with Barkha Dutt, Karan praised Kangana saying, "She is an exceptional talent" but quickly followed it up by saying “she clearly learned those 12 lines and came".

Referring to Kangana's repeated attempt to call him nepotistic and favoring star-kids in the industry, Johar said, "“I felt attacked, why should I apologise? She had an opinion and I respect that, but I had my opinion to give as well,". He also defended his earlier response given at London School of Economics where he called her out for always playing a 'victim-card', by saying, "She had an opinion, she is an exceptional talent and I have always said that. She has her opinion and she said it. Two weeks later, I was given a platform and I said what I had to. I don’t know what to say, what she meant, whereas I have never crossed paths with her beyond here and there. She decided to choose me, to make her point which is fine," he said."

In the full interview, Karan also spilled some beans on his recent fatherhood, his sexuality and other accusations that made their way in his personal and professional front yard.
