Kareena Kapoor Khan will be soon seen in Rohit Shetty’s multi-starrer Singham Again. The cop drama will be headlined by Ajay Devgn and will also star Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Tiger Shroff. However, in a conversation with BBC Asian Network, Kareena shared a major update about the film. The actress even answered whether she would share the screen space with others or not.
Answering the question, “I’m sure that’s part of the surprise of the film that you guys have to watch! But yes, it’s a stellar cast. And I think there’s no one better than Rohit Shetty to bring us all together in one frame. Yes, and it’s definitely going to happen.”
Talking about the film, The Crew actress said, “The movie has emotion, action, and on top of that, I have a lovely role that’s a pivotal part of the film. Even if you look at big-ticket Hollywood films like Avengers, there’s always an emotional connection. Singham Again has emotion that comes from my character. So, after doing Crew and especially the audience, seeing me in this movie will be a total 360-degree turn as an actor.”
To add more, Rohit recently shared the first look of Deepika Padukone from the film. “MY HERO… REEL MEIN BHI AUR REAL MEIN BHI LADY SINGHAM!!! @deepikapadukone,” he wrote. In the first-look poster, Deepika was seen suited up in a police universe, holding a gun in her hand. The gun was placed in a man’s mouth while Deepika had a sinister smile while blood was seen oozing from her forehead and shoulders.
Arjun Kapoor will be seen playing villain role in the film. A report by Bollywood Hungama says that Arjun Kapoor, who will be playing one of the antagonists along with Jackie Shroff, will be called Danger Lanka in the film.
It would be interesting to see Arjun Kapoor face off five super cops. For the unversed, Singham 3 aka Singham Again will not only bring back Ajay Devgn as Singham but also marks Akshay Kumar’s return as Veer “Soorya” Sooryavansh, and Ranveer Singh’s return as Simmba.
