Kate Hudson Describes Past Relationship With Nick Jonas As A 'Moment'

Before falling in love and marrying Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas was rumoured to have dated actress Kate Hudson in 2015 and 2016. While both have largely stayed quiet about their past relationship, Hudson appears ready to discuss it now. During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Hudson participated in a playful game called “Plead the Fifth.” When host Andy Cohen mentioned the old rumours about her brief romance with Jonas, Hudson didn’t shy away and described the Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle star as a “lovely, fun, kind” person.

During the episode, Cohen asked the 45-year-old actress how she would describe her relationship with Nick Jonas, the Almost Famous star laughed awkwardly and said, “A moment? A moment. Lovely, fun, kind. He’s like an old man in a young man’s body and we love him.”

Although Kate Hudson didn’t dive deep into the specific details, later host Andy Cohen jokingly asked if she received any flirty DMs while she was on a break from dating. Acknowledging the question, the actress without revealing any names, mentioned, “It’s a great way to meet people and a great thing to like you know make your ego feel wonderful. Like, ‘That one’s snuck in.’ I like to flirt which is why I had to go through a year without flirting.”

When rumours about their alleged relationship began to spread back in the day, Nick Jonas speaking to Complex, praised Kate Hudson, by calling her “incredible” and shared that they had a “beautiful connection.”

The singer said, “Kate’s incredible. We had an unbelievable connection as two humans who just admire things about each other, and see something in each other that’s beautiful. Out of my best effort to respect her and her privacy, I’m not going to say if we had s** or not. But we did have a beautiful connection. Even now I have so much admiration and respect. She’s amazing.”

At present, Kate Hudson is engaged to producer Danny Fujikawa, whom she started dating in 2016. They have a 5-year-old daughter named Rani. On the other hand, Nick Jonas married Priyanka Chopra in 2018 and the couple welcomed their first child, Malti Marie Chopra, via surrogacy on January 15, 2022.
