The sequel to the hugely successful 2015 Baby, Naam Shabana stars Taapsee Pannu, Manoj Bajpayee, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Taher Shabbir and Virendra Saxena pivotal roles. The film, essentially inspired by Taapsee Pannu's performance in the prequel, sees her as a spy.
The half-a-minute dialogue promo shows Taapsee in a no-nonsense avatar as the protagonist Shabana. The promo opens with a scene shot in a market - a man pushes Taapsee and offers her a casual apology, to which a feisty Taapsee trips him over and gives back an equally cold apology. Not only does it set the tone for the entire promo but also builds up Taapsee's fearless character.
Directed by Shivam Nair, the film also features Akshay Kumar in an extended cameo. The film is slated to hit the theatres on March 31.
