Nayanthara And Vignesh Shivan's Childhood Pictures Show Uncanny Resemblance To Kids

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan might be busy with their respective professional endeavours. But they often scoop some time out from their hectic schedules to engage in some fun activities with each other and their twin boys — Ulag and Uyir. Both are active on social media, often sharing updates on their little munchkins. Recently, Vignesh Shivan took his followers by a sweet surprise when he dropped a picture of Ulag and Nayanthara’s childhood photo on his Instagram Stories. Interestingly, the 1-year-old toddler looked like a mirror image of his mother.

“Like mommy, like son,” captioned Vignesh Shivan. The two parallel images captured Nayanthara during her younger days, while the other one was of baby Ulag. Both sported similar short hairstyles and had twinkling eyes. The photograph stood as proof that the little one bore a striking resemblance to the Jawan actress.

Not only Nayanthara and Ulag, but Uyir is also a spitting image of his father Vignesh Shivan. In another Instagram post, the filmmaker shared two side-by-side pictures of himself when he was a mere toddler and the other of Uyir. After looking closely at both clicks, there remained no room for doubt that Uyir held a resemblance to his father. In fact, both were twinning in white outfits. “Like appa like son,” read the caption.

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan never fail to dish out major couple goals. Not long ago, the Jawan actress shared a lovey-dovey picture with her partner on Instagram. Their backs were turned away from the camera, looking atop a well-illuminated tree, decorated with fairy lights. The pair were embraced in each other’s arms and twinned in black ensembles.

Nayanthara got hitched to Vignesh Shivan on June 9, 2022, in an intimate ceremony at Mahabalipuram. It was a star-studded affair with many personalities like superstar Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, and ace director Mani Ratnam, among others gracing the marriage festivities. The couple announced the birth of Ulag and Uyir on October 9, via surrogacy.

On the work front, Vignesh Shivan is currently busy with his upcoming Tamil-language romantic comedy Love Insurance Corporation. On the other hand, Nayanthara will next be seen in director S Sashikanth’s The Test.
