New Mom Yami Gautam Shares Life Updates After Welcoming Son Vedavid: 'Colourful Burp Cloths, Sunshine'

Yami Gautam is one of the new moms in Bollywood. After having her son, Vedavid, in May, she shared her first picture on Instagram to update her fans. The photo looks like it was taken in her hometown of Himachal Pradesh, where she wore comfy clothes and a colourful shawl. This was the actress’s first post-birth photo on social media. In the meantime, she had shared a lovely picture with her husband, Aditya Dhar, from the promotional event for their film Article 370. Along with the photo, she sweetly wished her husband a happy third anniversary.

Sharing the photo, the actress wrote in the caption, “Lately life has been about colourful burp-cloths, some sunshine & trees.”

Yami Gautam and director Aditya Dhar had taken to Instagram in May to share a photo of Lord Krishna affectionately holding a little boy in his arms. The couple had revealed that the baby boy was born on Akshay Tritiya. Their statement read, “We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the exceptionally dedicated and wonderful medical professionals at Surya Hospital, especially Dr. Bhupender Awasthi and Dr. Ranjana Dhanu, whose expertise and tireless efforts made this joyous occasion possible. With every milestone he achieves, we are filled with the hope and belief that he will grow to become a beacon of pride for our entire family as well as our beloved nation.”

On the professional front, Yami Gautam has an exciting lineup of projects in her kitty. She is set to star in director Rishab Seth’s upcoming action comedy film Dhoom Dhaam, alongside Pratik Gandhi and Mukul Chadda. The film centers on Veer Khurana and Koyal Chadda, a mismatched couple in an arranged marriage. Their wedding night takes an unexpected turn when a case of mistaken identity leads them to go on the run, searching for the mysterious person named Charlie.
