Priyanka Chopra is truly sweating it out on the sets of her upcoming film, The Bluff. The actress is currently in Australia and has been updating fans with photos and videos from the sets, showing fans glimpses of her “life lately”. Maintaining that trajectory, Priyanka shared yet another reel featuring her daughter Malti and moments spent with her loved ones.
The clip featured Malti Marie, her mother Madhu Chopra, her manager’s son and other near and dear ones. However, PeeCee marked Nick Jonas’s absence with a sweet line in the post. She penned the caption, “My angel baby, my best friend, my godson, my brother from another mother and my actual mother. Nothing like family and friends to keep you rejuvenated . After revealing the injuries she sustained during an action sequence, Priyanka Chopra also recently shared another reel. The video captures her busy schedule, including moments between makeup sessions, preparations, physiotherapy and heartwarming interactions with her daughter, Malti Marie.
On Saturday, the Love Again star took to Instagram and shared the video with the caption, “Previously… on #thebluff #stunts #actionaddict #workingsaturday.”
In the video, one can see Priyanka working with her makeup team on fake injury marks and her look for the film, followed by glimpses of injuries on her arm and face and moments with her co-stars. In between, one can also spot little Malti on the sets, holding her mother’s hands, having dinner with her and enjoying music during the breaks.
While Priyanka looks quite exhausted and drained, considering the high-octane action scenes and her busy schedule, the little munchkin is equally adorable.
Earlier, the actress shared a carousel of pictures along with a video of herself with messy hair and a blood-soaked face, along with injury marks below her neck. “Yeah. When you do action movies, it is really glamorous. Another day at the office,” she says in the video. The post also included pictures of her daughter, her friends and the crew members of The Bluff.
While the injuries and blood in her current film are staged, Priyanka Chopra had previously sustained a real injury resulting in a scar on her neck. She shared a picture on Instagram and captioned, “Professional hazards at my job.”
Directed by Frank E Flower, The Bluff follows the story of a former female pirate (Priyanka), who must protect her family while struggling with her mysterious past. The film also features Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Safia Oakley-Green and Vedanten Naidoo in significant roles. After last year’s global franchise Citadel, The Bluff marks Priyanka’s second collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios and AGBO.
On the other hand, the actress is yet to make her Bollywood comeback. Last seen in the 2019 film The Sky Is Pink, she is expected to feature in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa. Besides, she also has Heads of State alongside Idris Elba and John Cena.
