One notable moment occurred during the sindoor khela celebration when Sherlyn Chopra approached Rani Mukerji to show her respect. In a gesture of admiration, Sherlyn attempted to touch Rani’s feet before applying sindoor.

In a video shared by paparazzi handle Filmygyan, Sherlyn is seen smiling as she nears Rani at the Durga pandal. However, before Sherlyn could touch her feet, Rani, visibly surprised, quickly stopped her and gestured for her not to do so. The two then shared a warm moment as they applied sindoor to each other, with Sherlyn expressing her thanks before departing. For the occasion, Sherlyn donned a red and gold silk saree with fresh flowers in her hair, while Rani looked elegant in a cream and gold saree paired with a red blouse.

This year, Rani and her cousin Kajol hosted the Durga puja pandal near SNDT Women’s University in Juhu. The event drew several Bollywood stars, including Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Jaya Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, and more. Ayan Mukerji, another Mukerji cousin, was also a regular attendee, continuing the family tradition of celebrating Navratri together.

Rani was previously spotted at the pandal where she shared the spotlight with Ranbir Kapoor. A delightful video captured their friendly interaction. In another clip, Ranbir was seen casually strolling towards the pandal, while Rani looked stunning in a vibrant yellow saree, happily posing for photos alongside him.

Another heartwarming moment from the celebrations that went viral featured Kajol and Jaya Bachchan. The video showed a sweet surprise when Jaya leaned in to give Kajol a kiss. Their affectionate exchange was followed by a warm hug.

On the work front, Rani Mukerji was last seen in Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway (2023). She is set to reprise her role as the tough cop Shivani Shivaji Roy in Mardaani 3, and is reportedly in talks to star in a family drama directed by Shonali Bose, although an official announcement is yet to be made.
