Akshay Kumar's latest film Rustom is a reel version of the landmark Nanavati Case that rocked the nation in the early 1950s. The film's trailer suggests it to be gritty thriller with Akshay Kumar playing the title role, a decorated Navy Officer, who in a fit of rage murders his wife Sylvia's (Ileana D'Cruz) lover played by Arjan Bjawa. The film has dramatized the Nanavati Case which had eventually led to the removal of the jury system in India. The film has been directed by Tinu Suresh Desai and been produced by Neeraj Pandey. It will be releasing in theatres on 12th August.
