Ryan Reynolds Gives A Detailed Look Inside His Life With Blake Lively And Their 4 Kids
Deadpool & Wolverine star Ryan Reynolds gave a rare glimpse into his family life and talked about the importance of enjoying the mess that comes with raising kids.

Ryan Reynolds is riding high on the success of his latest film, Deadpool & Wolverine. Amid this, the Hollywood star recently offered a rare peek into his personal life and shared some parenting advice. While appearing on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Reynolds talked about the importance of learning to “embrace the chaos,” that comes with raising kids. Despite the challenges, he and his wife, Blake Lively, who have been married since 2012 and share four children, James, Inez, Betty and Olin, focus more on appreciating each moment as a family. Reynolds also revealed that Lively often reminds him to enjoy the time when the whole family is present under one roof.

Reynolds explained, “Embrace the chaos. We have four kids. Like, OK, nothing’s going to be tidy ever again. Like, when you walk in, yes, it will, though, when they all leave the house. My wife always says, ‘They’re all under our roof like the whole family’s under our roof right now. We have them all.’ And that is a fleeting thing. Not an infinite resource, you know?”

“It does get to you. And it’s ok to be like, ‘F**k, I am dying.’ Because that’s gonna happen every other day. But if you can think about what you would give in 40 years or 30 years to come back and enjoy this one moment. My kids even can’t go to sleep unless they’re in our bed. I would love to spread out and fall asleep normally again,” Ryan Reynolds added.

Interestingly, Ryan Reynolds’ family didn’t just cheer him on as part of the audience in Deadpool & Wolverine; they were actually involved in the action. For those who may not know, Blake Lively played the role of Lady Deadpool, while their eldest daughter, James, stole the show as a Screaming Mutant. Their 7-year-old daughter, Inez, appeared as Kidpool, with plenty of screen time and even delivered some dialogue. Additionally, Reynolds and Lively’s youngest son, Olin, made a cameo as Babypool. Although their other daughter, Betty, didn’t appear on screen, she was credited as the Hugh Jackman wrangler.

On the podcast, Ryan Reynolds explained that casting his family in the latest Marvel movie was a natural choice. Since the whole family was present on set, they decided to take advantage of the moment and include them in the film.
