Santhanam-starrer Inga Naan Thaan Kingu hit the cinema halls on May 17. Directed by Anand Narayan, the film features a star-studded cast including Santhanam, Thambi Ramaiah, Munishkanth, Bala Saravanan, Lollu Sabha Seshu, Lollu Sabha Maaran, and Vivek Prasanna. This film marks the debut of Priyalaya as a main character, alongside late actor Manobala. The film is based on the story of Santhanam’s character, who borrows money to buy a house for his wedding. He then pays back the loan during the marriage ceremony. Santhanam’s films often take the audience on a laughter ride. As per the reports, this film is touted to be a comedy.
Fans are impressed with the trio of Santhanam, Thambi Ramaiah, and Bala Saravanan. On technical aspects, the cinematography of the film is handled by Om Narayan. M Thiyagarajan has overseen the editing. D Imman’s is responsible for scoring musical compositions. Produced by Sushmitha Anbuchezhian under the banner of GN Anbuchezhian’s Gopuram Films, fans have given the film a green signal.
Inga Naan Thaan Kingu is a comedy drama, featuring humour including a group of foolish characters. What sets it apart is Ezhichur Aravindan’s original script. The scenes include funny setup for jokes, regardless of their logic, and the audience doesn’t seem to mind. The key is whether the jokes are fresh or not. Some land well, while others fall flat. Written and directed by Sundar C, the film stars Vishal, Anjali, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the leading roles. Other actors including Sonu Sood, Santhanam, Prakash Raj, Nitin Sathya, and Manivannan will also be seen in pivotal roles. With music composed by Vijay Antony, the cinematography of the film is handled by Richard M Nathan.
