Revealing why he decided to produce Mrs, Harman Baweja during the red carpet at the NYIFF spoke with Urban Asian and said, “I write a lot of scripts myself, so for me the honest kick of even being a producer is so I can kind of be involved in the writing process. So that’s the fun part of it for me is to kind of pick those stories which are thematically very strong. Am I really putting something out there? You know, sometimes it’s very subliminal. It doesn’t have to be in your face. So, that’s very important to thematically connect with the core theme of the script.”
Starring Sanya Malhotra in lead, Mrs is scheduled to release in India by the end of the year.
