Sharon Osbourne Reveals Her Jewellery Was Stolen 4 Times: 'It Eats You Up''
Sharon Osbourne stated that it was close to midnight and that three men were outside the room acting as though they were going to change hallway lights which were directly outside the door.

On four different occasions, English television star Sharon Osbourne and her husband Ozzy Osbourne had their entire jewellery collection — worth close to $2 million — stolen. The couple has learnt to “move on” despite their losses, even though the theft of some of their valuable jewellery still affects them. The revelation was made on a July 16 episode of The Osbourne’s Podcast, which Sharon, Ozzy and their children Jack and Kelly co-hosted.

A fan questioned the family, asking whether they had any regrets about anything they had given up, misplaced or lost. At the three-minute mark, the renowned rock duo discussed losing their priceless belongings once more. Sharon mentioned that once the theft happened in a hotel room, which Jack referred to as “cat-burglar style.” She said, “I came up from the bar. I don’t even remember what I was going up to the room for.”

Sharon stated that it was close to midnight and that three men were outside the room acting as though they were going to change hallway lights which were directly outside the door. They were also disguising their intention to “rummage” through the room.

Ozzy disclosed that the pilferers had taken “everything” but a handful of items. Adding that someone on her office staff had neglected to pay the insurance, Sharon said she was unable to file a claim for the expensive things, which included a diamond ring that she had hidden in a sock. She also claimed that the employee had been dismissed. “I was so pissed off with myself, with everything,” she added.

Sharon went on to say that two housekeepers had “robbed” the family completely by taking her jewellery as well. Jack said that the third episode was “too painful” for Sharon to discuss, therefore she refrained from going into any specifics.

Despite all the thefts, the Black Sabbath musician learned to “move on” and live her life. “You just have to because it eats you up,” Sharon agreed.

The Osbournes did not comment on the theft, but in November 2004, Ozzy and Sharon appealed to the British public on television for assistance in locating approximately $2 million worth of jewels that had been stolen from their Buckinghamshire estate in England. The jewellery included her 24-carat sapphire ring, Tiffany diamond wedding band and numerous watches covered in jewels, as reported by Today at the time.

Ozzy was able to grip the invader before they got loose and leaped out a first-floor window. The couple then announced a reward of 100,000 pounds for the reward of their priceless possessions. The BBC reports that in 2011, Sharon’s wedding ring was received back.
