The much-anticipated Marathi film, Nach Ga Ghuma, has officially commenced its shooting. Scheduled for release on May 1, the film is generating excitement, especially as it boasts a female-centric cast including renowned actresses Mukta Barve, Namrata Sambherao, Sukanya Mone, Supriya Pathare, Madhugandha Kulkarni, and Sharmistha Raut.
The mahurat for Nach Ga Ghuma took place on January 15, bringing together the entire cast, crew, and producers for the auspicious launch. The film, directed by Paresh Mokashi, with a co-written story by Madhugandha Kulkarni, is making headlines not only for its promising ensemble but also because it marks the debut of actor Swwapnil Joshi as a producer. The film is co-produced by Sharmistha Raut, Tejas Desai and Trupti Patil.
Swwapnil Joshi, a popular name in Marathi entertainment, television and films, announced the film on October 15, 2023. In a Facebook post, he shared, “On the auspicious occasion of the constitution, all the women of the world are saluting three times…Announcement of our new movie…Nach Ga Ghuma. See you in theatres on 1st May 2024!" The announcement video on Facebook garnered attention and raised anticipation among fans.
Nach Ga Ghuma promises to depict the humorous experiences that women encounter due to their gender, portraying women as the perfect blend of intellect and emotions. Swwapnil Joshi, known for his significant contributions to Marathi television, including shows like Krishna and Eka Lagnachi Dusri Goshta, as well as popular films like Duniyadari and Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai, is set to make his mark as a producer with this venture.
Swwapnil’s last collaboration with Paresh Mokashi and Madhugandha Kulkarni was well-received, featuring a film that showcased a heartwarming narrative. The untitled project, produced by Zee Studios, saw its music, composed by Mangesh Dhakade, released on January 13, 2023.
