Dhyan Sreenivasan is one of the most talented actors in the Malayalam film industry. He is known for his films like Cheena Trophy, Love Action Drama and Goodalochana. After delivering a couple of hits, he is once again back in front of the camera to shoot for his upcoming untitled film. Dhyan Sreenivasan’s next movie’s shoot began in Erattupetta, Kerala. Before that, a pooja ceremony was held in the presence of the film’s stars and crew. The movie will mark the directorial debut of ace cinematographer Thomson Thankachan. A photo has surfaced of a clapboard and a spiral-bind script kept on flower petals. The clapboard read, “The N Media Productions Production No 1, story and direction by Thomson Thankachan”. In the middle of the clapboard, the word “Pooja” can be seen written.
As per reports, it is touted to be a comedy thriller and will feature actors like Anju Kurian, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Azees Nedumangad, Maria Vincent, Vineeth Thattil, Pramod Veliyanad and many others. The audience is eagerly waiting to hear more updates like the name of the film and its plot.
Dhyan Sreenivasan was last seen in his brother’s directorial titled Varshangalkku Shesham. The film hit the screens on April 11 and opened to mixed reviews from critics and audiences. The Malayalam period comedy-drama is written and helmed by Vineeth Sreenivasan. It was backed by Visakh Subramaniam of Merryland Cinemas. It also featured actors like Pranav Mohanlal, Nivin Pauly, Kalyani Priyadarshan, YG Mahendran, Shaan Rahman, Neeta Pillai, Aju Varghese, Basil Joseph and Neeraj Madhav in supporting roles.
Dhyan Sreenivasan is currently gearing up for the release of Nadikar, which hit the silver screens on May 3. Lal Jr directs the comedy-drama and stars Tovino Thomas, Divya Pillai, Soubin Shahir, Balu Varghese, Suresh Krishna and Bhavana. It opened to mixed responses from the audience and critics alike. He also has films like Swargathile Katturumbu, Anand Sreebala, Thrayam, ID and Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira in his pipeline.
