Sohail Khan on Failed Relationships, Says Everything Has Expiry Date: 'When You Lose Excitement...'
Sohail Khan separated from Seema Sajdeh in 2022. The actor opened up about failed relationship.

Sohail Khan opened up about failed relationships and said that every relationship comes with an expiry date. The actor, who separated from Seema Sajdeh in 2022, said that if a relationship loses its excitement, a couple should amicably move on. The actor-director added that it is understandable that one’s ego is damaged after a break up. Sohail was married to Seema for 24 years before they parted ways. They share a son named Nirvaan Khan.

Speaking with Arhaan Khan and his friends, Dev Raiyani and Arush Verma first episode of Dumb Biryani, Sohail said, “We get pressured into relationships, about what’s going to happen to the other person or yourself. There’s a whole world out there. Till when it lasts, and till when you’re happy together, keep the relationship going, don’t make it sour. Because that’s when negative feelings about the other person come into you.”

“Everything comes with an expiry. You buy a medicine, you buy a chocolate, you call for food. When you lose excitement in a relationship, amicably move on. Communication is the best thing,” he added.

Arbaaz Khan weighed in on the subject and said that a relationship has a ‘better chance of survival’ partners communicate like they are friends. “If you feel that you can’t tell your partner something because they might judge you, then you have a problem,” he said. Arbaaz added that it is important to get into a relationship only when you are willing to give and take.

“Most people get into relationships wanting to receive. And they forget about what they bring to the table, what they have to offer. Until and unless you’re getting into a relationship to give, there’s no reason why you should be getting into a relationship. If you’re only going to be the recipient, it’s not going to work for the other person beyond a point of time,” Arbaaz said, who recently got married for the second time. He added that a person should not depend on their partner for happiness. He said that if a relationship starts to involve deception, it is time to bring the relationship to an end.

Arbaaz was previously married to Malaika Arora and they share a son named Arhaan Khan.
