The Tyrant New Poster: Kim Seon-ho, Cha Seung-won And Kim Kang-woo Get Tangled In Complicated Case
Directed by Park Hoon-jung, this drama will be his first TV series starring Cha Seung-won, Kim Seon-ho and Kim Kang-woo.

Disney Plus Korea has unveiled a series of new stills for their upcoming Korean drama, The Tyrant. This four-part chase action series explores the chaotic fallout when the final sample from the Tyrant Program goes missing during delivery, sparking a scramble among people to locate and control the sample. Directed by Park Hoon-jung, this drama will be his first TV series and stars Cha Seung-won, Kim Seon-ho and Kim Kang-woo. All three actors have previously worked with him on other projects.

After an exciting trailer released last month, makers have shared more stills from the show with fans. It features the three leads from the upcoming thriller.

Check it out:

According to Soompi, actor Cha Seung-won, who was also a part of Park Hoon-jung’s film Night in Paradise, plays Im Sang, a former agent whose job is to remove any obstacles to the Tyrant Program. Im Sang’s ruthless nature contrasts sharply with his tidy appearance and polite manner. The actor explained his approach to the character, saying, “I aimed to convey the extreme duality of Im Sang."

Kim Seon-ho, who collaborated with director Park Hoon-jung on the film The Childe, will portray Director Choi, an agent striving to protect the Tyrant Program at all costs. Explaining his decision to join the show, Kim Seon-ho reportedly said, “Unlike the roles I’ve played so far, this character is lonely and desolate, so I wanted to take on the challenge."

Meanwhile, Kim Kang-woo, another actor from The Childe, will take on the role of Paul, a secret agent from a foreign intelligence agency sent to steal information from the Tyrant Program. Kim Kang-woo explained that Paul has a cold personality and is much more brutal and meticulous than his character in The Childe, reports Soompi.

Before this Disney Plus Korea had also treated fans to the main poster of the drama.
