The Greatest Of All Time has been the topic of discussion on social media since its inception. GOAT is attracting more attention than any of Vijay’s other films primarily because it is one of his last projects. Vijay had previously said that he would move away from films after he started his political career. Vijay’s political party, Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam was launched in February and the actor had said he would be contesting the 2026 State Assembly Elections. His party did not support any political bloc in the just concluded Lok Sabha elections, where the DMK-led alliance swept the polls in Tamil Nadu.
After the formation of Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam, Vijay is now reportedly gearing up for his first-ever political conference. According to The Print, Vijay has asked his party cadre to take a Left-of-Centre stance and venerate BR Ambedkar, Periyar and K Kamaraj. K Kamaraj was the former chief minister of Madras State. Vijay reportedly wants to present these leaders as the party’s primary sources of ideological inspiration. The Print further reports that Vijay is currently reading the book Ambedkar Indrum Endrum (Ambedkar Today and Forever), a compilation of Ambedkar’s works. The report added that Vijay will finish the book before he heads for the press conference.
