This is What Nia Sharma Has to Say About the Viral Video of Her Calling Ravi Dubey the 'Best Kisser'

Actress Nia Sharma, who recently made headlines for calling her Jamai 2.0 co-star Ravi Dubey, the ‘best kisser’ in a viral video, opened up about her statement. In an interview, Nia explained that she said that as a compliment and to tell people that no fuss should be made about actors doing intimate scenes.

Talking to Bollywood Hungama, Nia said, “Who will come on board and just say ‘Oh! I was kissed badly.’ Ravi and I have been working forever. It’s been seven years. A TV show has been lifted and brought on the web platform. These are the same characters but brought in a different light. That is the level of comfort I have with Ravi. If I say he is the ‘best kisser’, of course he was. I enjoyed it and he was lovely. It was just to tell everybody that intimate scenes cannot be made a fuss about. That’s all I did there.”

Nia also said that Ravi is a shy person in default and during season 1 of the web-show he was a little apprehensive of doing bold and intimate scenes. She added that in season 2 Ravi was more relaxed and hence their scenes together were comfortable to do. Hence, she gave her co-star a compliment, Nia said.

Meanwhile, Ravi was asked about his reaction when he found out Nia had called him the best kisser. Ravi said that his jaw dropped to the floor. However, both him and his wife Sargun Mehta are quite fond of Nia and hence they laughed when they watched the video together.

Jamai 2.0 season 2 is the web spin-off of the hit TV show Jamai Raja. The web-series also stars Nia Sharma, Ravi Dubey and Achint Kaur in the lead roles. The show streams on Zee5 from February 26.
