Popular Bollywood couple Ajay Devgn and Kajol are celebrating their son Yug’s 14th birthday. The couple welcomed Yug on September 13, 2010. The parents penned beautiful birthday wishes on their Instagram handle and shared unseen pictures with the birthday boy.
Ajay dropped two pictures with Yug showing the father-son duo, dressed in casual outfits, was seen cycling on one of their trips abroad. The doting father wrote, “You make the simplest moments unforgettable kiddo. From outsmarting me to keeping me on my toes, you’ve made sure I’m never bored. Happy Birthday, my boy.”
Meanwhile, Kajol shared a post dedicated to her beloved son. In the picture, the actress looked beautiful in a pink saree paired with a matching blouse, while her son wore a white kurta pyjama. Kajol wrote, “Happy happy birthday to this little man! Ur smile is the best thing in the whole wide world..May we always be arm in arm and laugh at the weirdest stuff! Love u @yug_dvgn.”
The fans took to the comment section to wish their son. Ajay and Kajol’s industry colleagues and friends, including Rakul Preet Singh, Darshan Kumaar, Vindu Dara Singh and Anil Charanjeett also wished Yug.
In 2019, when Kajol appeared on Kareena Kapoor Khan’s radio show What Women Want, she shared that Yug had taught her an important lesson. She revealed, “I was firing Nysa for not sitting with us. There was a Mata Ki Chowki at home, and I was like, ‘Nysa, come and sit with us. We are sitting here, why are you sitting at the table?’ She said, ‘Mumma, I don’t want to.’ I got angry, and I said, ‘Come here and sit down!’ So after she came, sat and left, my son turned around, sat in my lap quietly and told me, ‘You know, mom, you shouldn’t fire her for telling the truth.’”
Kajol was impressed by her son’s statement, and she mentioned, “I felt like, oh my God, that was such a….ulte haath ka thappad apne bachche ne maar diya mujhe! It was amazing advice.”
