Varun Dhawan and his wife Natasha Dalal are on cloud nine as they were blessed with a baby girl on June 3. The proud parents welcomed their first child at Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital. Varun Dhawan shared the good news through a wholesome video featuring his dog Joey holding a placard that read “Welcome Lil sis”. Varun, expressing his delight, captioned the clip, “Our Baby Girl Is Here. Thank u for all the good wishes for the mama and the baby.”
Since the news broke, congratulatory messages have been pouring in for the new parents. Among those extending their heartfelt wishes are popular figures like Arjit Taneja, Munmum Dutta, Chetna Pande, Maniesh Paul, Gurdip Punjj, Shehnaaz Gill and Jiya Shankar of Bigg Boss fame. While Jiya Shankar penned the most heartfelt wish in the comment section. It read, “Aww congratulations to the both of you Varun,” Shehnaaz showered them with blessings as she wrote, “Congratulations! sending lots of love to the lil baby.”
Arjit Taneja also left a sweet message for the new mom and dad. He commented on Varun’s post, “Congratulations”. Meanwhile, Varun’s JugJugg Jeeyo co-star Maniesh Paul also extended his heartfelt wishes. “Congratulationsssssss to you and the entire family,” his message read.

Did you know that Varun always envisioned having a baby daughter for himself? On Karan Johar’s talk show, Koffee With Karan 5, the Badlapur star shared his wish to have a baby girl someday. During a rapid-fire round, Karan Johar asked Varun Dhawan what certain actors had that he didn’t. As the filmmaker mentioned Shahid Kapoor’s name, Varun was quick to respond, “He has a baby girl. I don’t want his baby girl. I want my own.”
FYI, Varun and Natasha are childhood sweethearts. They tied the knot on January 24, 2021, in the presence of their families and closest friends after dating for a few years.
