Watch: Ammy Virk Celebrates Indian Hockey Team's Olympic Win With Akshay Kumar

The Indian men’s hockey team defeated Spain 2-1 to secure the bronze medal at the Paris Olympics 2024 on Thursday. Following the win, congratulatory wishes for the team poured in from across the country. Ammy Virk also shared his excitement about the victory with the media. The actor, who is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Khel Khel Mein, was snapped at the Mumbai airport with co-star Akshay Kumar. Ammy was visibly thrilled with India’s bronze win at the Olympics 2024. As the actor walked towards the paps for a photo session, he hugged Akshay before talking about India’s victory in men’s hockey at the Olympics. He said, “Hockey main bronze medal jeet gaye hain hum [we won the bronze medal in hockey]."

Ammy Virk will next be seen in Mudassar Aziz’s Khel Khel Mein. The trailer of the movie was unveiled earlier this month and teased the tale of seven friends who, on a bizarre game night, choose to reveal their darkest secrets. Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, and Pragya Jaiswal are the 7 leads of the movie and each one of them has a secret to hide.

In the teaser, Vaani’s character is married to Akshay’s character, who is presented as a man who checks out women on the internet. When Vaani’s character advises that they all unlock their phones for the evening so that everyone can see their calls and messages, all hell breaks loose.

Khel Khel Mein is bankrolled by T-Series, Wakaoo Films and KKM Film Production. It is scheduled to release on August 15 facing clashes with John Abraham’s Vedaa, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s Stree 2 and Vikram’s Thangalaan. Keerthy Suresh’s Raghu Thatha will also make its theatrical debut on Independence Day.
