Watch: BTS Star Jin's Reaction To Being Called Old On His New Show
As always, Jin threw himself into the task with 100% dedication, working up a sweat under the hot sun. But the real heat came when mid-pepper picking, someone asked if they could call him “Ahjussi,” a term used in Korea to respectfully refer to middle-aged men.

BTS star Jin had a moment of pure hilarity when someone made a light-hearted jab at his age, and let’s just say, he wasn’t too thrilled about it. At 31, Jin might be the oldest member of BTS, but he’s far from what most of us would call old. Still, it seems like some people are quick to pull the age card, and Jin felt the full sting of that in the latest teaser for Run Jin. In the preview, we see Jin gearing up for a day of hard work at a pepper farm, ready to tackle anything the day throws his way.

As always, Jin threw himself into the task with 100% dedication, working up a sweat under the hot sun. But the real heat came when mid-pepper picking, someone asked if they could call him “Ahjussi," a term used in Korea to respectfully refer to middle-aged men. Suddenly in total disbelief, Jin seemed to momentarily freeze at the thought of being lumped into that category. With a resigned sigh, Jin admitted, “When I was younger, people in their late 20s were all misters back in my days."

As the clip went viral on Weverse and TikTok, fans were quick to rally around Jin, with some laughing off the comment and others fully understanding his reaction. After all, the younger cast members always seem to keep him on his toes, playfully stressing him out at every turn. As the episode wrapped, viewers got a sneak peek of what’s to come next week—and it’s safe to say everyone is on the edge of their seats.

The teaser for the upcoming episode was released at the end of the latest episode of Run Jin which was released on October 1. Watch it here:

The ninth episode, expected to be called Farming Diary, will feature Jin lending a helping hand at a farm in Yeoncheon, a region short on workers. As always, Jin is diving in headfirst, showing his determination to experience life from every angle, reports Koreaboo.

Run Jin, which premiered on August 13, is Jin’s solo spin-off from the beloved RUN BTS variety show. With the original show on pause due to the members’ military enlistment, Jin is keeping the tradition alive and fans couldn’t be happier. Every Tuesday, a new episode drops, set to the comically catchy beat of his solo song, Super Tuna. So far, Jin has tackled everything from mountain climbing to reliving his school days at his alma mater, and fans can’t wait to see what adventures await him next.
