Watch: Kajol Visits Durga Puja Pandal With Son Yug, Seeks Blessings

Durga Puja celebrations are in full-swing all across the country. Bollywood celebrities are also marking the festival with great fervour and zest. Recently, Kajol visited a Durga Puja pandal at the north Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja in Santacruz, Mumbai along with her son Yug. Soon, pictures and videos of the mother-son duo seeking blessings of Goddess Durga on this auspicious occasion went viral. In one such clip, both Kajol and Yug could be seen donning traditional outfits. While the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actress wore a red-pink tone saree, the kid donned a white kurta pyjama.

Continuing her tradition, the actress and her son also served bhog to those who visited the Durga Puja pandal. In other videos, Kajol can be seen holding a large bowl of bhog and serving food to the devotees. Another video depicted Yug walking with her mother and serving bhog to the guests.

Apart from them, several celebs including Rani Mukerji, Ishita Dutta and Vatsal Seth also visited the Durga Puja pandal this year. Taking to Instagram, Kajol posted a series of adorable pictures with Ishita and Vatsal’s son Vaayu from the Durga Puja festivities. In the snapshots, the Ishq actress is seen holding the cute munchkin in her arms. She wrote in the caption, “Pujo vibes… first day feels.”

On the work front, Kajol is gearing up for the release of her upcoming thriller film Do Patti. Helmed by Shashanka Chaturvedi and written by Kanika Dhillon, the film also features Kriti Sanon and TV actor Shaheer Sheikh in lead roles. It is all set to stream on the OTT giant Netflix from October 25.

Set in the fictional village of Devipur, Uttarakhand, Kajol — in the film — portrays a fierce cop who is on a mission to unearth the truth about an attempted murder. Kriti Sanon plays the double role of twin sisters who are involved in the investigation. Shaheer Sheikh, on the other hand, appears to be Kriti’s love interest.

Apart from this, the actress has an action-thriller Maharagni: Queen of Queens, which also features Prabhu Deva, Naseeruddin Shah, Samyukhta Menon and Jisshu Sengupta in pivotal roles. Kajol also has Sarzameen co-starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan in her kitty.
