Wondering what’s next for Jungkook after the release of his debut album Golden? Well, Jungkook has spilled the beans about two of his upcoming projects during his second appearance on Suga’s celebrity talk show Suchwita. The piece of good news for ARMY is that Jimin and Jungkook will appear on a variety show together shortly. The big revelation came when the Amygdala fame brought up a phone call he got from the duo while they were camping together. Before Jimin left South Korea, he did inform the rapper about going to the US. When Suga quizzed him why he said at the time, “I’m going to the US to drink with Jungkook." The comment left Suga equally perplexed and amused and it was at that moment Jungkook traced how the idea of the variety show kick-started.
“On a shoot with Jimin ages ago, he said it might be fun to do a travel variety show with me and I agreed," said Jungkook. However, it took quite a long time for the idea to materialize. “Then suddenly they set up a shoot," Jungkook said before breaking into a fit of laughter. “It was so funny after Jimin came," added Jungkook when the host asked the reason. The 3D singer laughed again to reply, “It was just a total mess." Jungkook did give Suga two major spoilers from the shoot but unfortunately, the footage was trimmed faster and masked for Suchwita viewers. If Suga’s reaction is anything to go by, it seems Jungkook and Jimin went on a crazy ride while shooting the variety show.
“It was hilarious," Jungkook recalled. Though the spoilers remain undisclosed, ARMY should expect Jimin and Jungkook to make a hilarious appearance on a variety show together soon.
If the variety show revelation wasn’t enough, Jungkook also shared that he is filming a documentary currently. “It follows the process from Seven to my album," explained Jungkook. And Suga followed suit with a question about his experience with documentary cameras following him around all the time. Jungkook highlighted how the feeling was quite different from the previous tour documentaries he had shot with BTS. “Honestly, when you film with other members the cameras aren’t all focused on you. But I always feel kind of pressured talking in front of a camera alone. I feel like I have to do something but I don’t know what to do so I feel the pressure from that," said Jungkook.
A special mention was given to hilarious footage from Suga’s D-Day documentary wherein the rapper frustratingly says to himself “Do you know what it took for me to get this far" before punching a cushion. The moment filled the room with more laughter as Suga concluded, “The thing about documentary cameras is you get the most candid shots when you’re not aware they’re filming you."
The release date of the variety show and Jungkook’s solo documentary remains unclear yet.
