Deepesh Bhan, better known as Malkhan from Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai, died on July 23 at the age of 41. He is survived by his wife and their 18-month-old son. His wife had to deal not only with the emotional trauma of the actor’s untimely death but also with the financial strain associated with their Rs. 50 lakh home loan. That, however, has now been paid in full, thanks to actress Saumya Tandon. Saumya, Deepesh’s co-star in Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai, had started a fundraising campaign on Ketto to assist his family.
On Sunday, Deepesh’s wife posted a video on his official Instagram account so that it reaches a lot of people. Through the clip, she informed all of his fans and well-wishers that the home loan had been repaid. Megha captioned the video, “Big thank you mam Saumya and Binaifer Nakra Kohli and to all who donate in Ketto. You are such an angel. God will always be with you. Love you so much."

In the video, she can be heard saying, “When my husband died unexpectedly, I had no other way to repay the loan because I was not financially strong and had no backing. During that time, Saumya Tandon from BJGPH came into my life and set up my Ketto account and started a fundraiser for me. She was extremely helpful, and we were able to repay the loan in less than a month."
Megha continued, “My motivation for making this video is to publicly thank Saumya ji. I’d also like to thank Benaifer Kohli ma’am, the show’s producer, who has always been supportive and still is. I want to thank them both from the bottom of my heart."
Reacting to the video, Saumya commented: “Lots of love my dear, I am sure Deepesh will be very happy above somewhere."
To assist Deepesh’s family in repaying a 50 lakh home loan, Saumya previously posted a video and requested donations. She also reflected on her happy times with the late actor.
