One of Hollywood’s most beloved couples, actors Emily Blunt and John Krasinski have been going strong for years now. Most recently, they were also spotted walking down the red carpet together at the 81st Golden Globes Awards 2024, held on January 8. However, soon after that, there were some rumours of the duo heading for a split, fueled by a widely circulated video from the award show. To put an end to these discussions, the couple is now dismissing rumours of an impending divorce. A source reportedly denied any marital issues between the two, asserting that the couple finds the divorce rumours baseless.
“There are no issues with Emily and John. They are absolutely not talking about divorce,” reported US Weekly. It further quoted a source saying, “They think the rumors are funny and ridiculous.”
All these speculations arose when some fans decided to interpret the lip-sync from a video of The Office star and guessed what he might be saying to his wife. Fans speculated that during a photo session at the Golden Globes awards ceremony, the Jack Ryan actor expressed eagerness for a divorce, saying “can’t wait to get a divorce.” However, interpretations diverged, with others suggesting he might have been saying, “I can’t wait to get indoors,” reported Page Six.

Persistent rumours gained more traction when Emily Blunt attended the Governors Awards alone, on January 9, prompting further speculation about the state of their relationship.
Representatives for Blunt and Krasinski have not officially responded to the issue yet.
The couple, married since 2010, shares two daughters, Hazel (9) and Violet (7), whom they intentionally keep out of the public eye.
