Karan Johar Says His Kids REFUSED To Watch Rocky Aur Rani: 'They Don't Know Anything About...'
Karan Johar opened up about his children, Yash and Roohi's reactions to his profession and movies.

Karan Johar revealed his children refused to watch his recent release, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The filmmaker made a comeback in July as a director with Rocky Aur Rani. He also shared the hilarious description of his work profile his children share at their school.

Speaking at Toronto International Film Festival, Karan said, (Roohi and Yash) don’t know anything about Bollywood.” When he was asked what the kids tell when they are asked about Karan’s profession, the filmmaker said, “They say he talks a lot on TV and it’s boring so I am not very celebrated. I asked them to see Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and they just said no.”

Karan added that his children are yet to discover many things about him, including his viral dance videos that are all over YouTube. But the day they come across these videos, Karan joked he is ‘going to die.’ “I have danced on reality shows. My kids are going to see those YouTube videos and I’m going to die when that happens,” Karan said.

Karan Johar is currently at the Toronto International Film Festival. His banner Dharma Productions co-produced the film Kill with Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment. The film was premiered at TIFF. Kill marks the debut of Lakshya, who plays the lead in the it. The film also stars Raghav Juyal, and Tanya Maniktala. Kill is directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt. The film received rave reviews from critics present at TIFF.

Speaking to Film Companion, Karan said, “The only feedback when I saw the final cut of Kill… I was like Guneet, I have one recommendation. She asked what, and I said, ‘Can you remove the logo of Dharma? Can we do something else? This (Dharma’s intro music) is not going with Kill’.”

Karan, who is mostly known for his romantic, family entertainers, switched genres with Kill. Talking about his love for action thrillers, Karan said, “Like, John Wick is one of my favorite action franchises, and I love Raid. People would not associate me with that kind of cinema because they think I’m think kind of person.”
