Mrunal Thakur's Wedding Comedy Ankh Micholi By OMG Director Umesh Shukla To Release On THIS Date; Deets Inside

Director Umesh Shukla of OMG and 102 Not Out fame is gearing up for the release of another highly-anticipated family entertainer, Aankh Micholi on October 27 this year. Staged around an Indian wedding, the film showcases the madness of two mismatched families and their crazy shenanigans which will take you on a joyous journey of laughter, drama, and emotions.

Makers Sony Pictures International Productions to the microblogging site X, formerly known as Twitter on Monday and shared the film’s poster to announce the release date. The announcement read, “The director who brought you ‘Oh My God’ and ‘102 Not Out’ @umeshkshukla is back to steal your hearts! Presenting, the poster of ‘Aankh Micholi’ – a delightful family entertainer movie that promises a riot of laughter! Releasing on 27th October, in cinemas near you!”

Speaking about the film, ace director Umesh Shukla said, “We’ve given our heart and soul to this film and the fact that we see it coming to theatres is the biggest blessing and joy any filmmaker can have. It’s a fun film that families can enjoy and watch together and we hope it gets the desired love from them. I would love to see everyone smiling.”

The film features a stellar ensemble cast including Mrunal Thakur, Abhimanyu, Paresh Rawal, Sharman Joshi, Divya Dutta, Abhishek Banerjee, Darshan Jariwala, Grusha Kapoor and Vijay Raaz. Mrunal also shared the announcement on her official Instagram handle. Popular television actor Rohit Bose Roy commented, “All my faves in one frame ❤️.” Celebrity makeup artist Nishi Singh wrote, “@mrunalthakur how much I was waiting to watch you in the song my beautiful.”

The music for the film is composed by the talented duo Sachin-Jigar. The film’s story is penned by Jitendra Parmar. Aankh Micholi is produced by Sony Pictures International Productions, Umesh Shukla and Ashish Wagh’s Merry Go Round Studios.
