Mumbai Indians IPL 2024 Schedule: Mumbai Indians will begin their bid to reclaim the IPL trophy in the year 2024 with a mouth-watering contest against Gujarat Titans on the road at Ahmedabad on the 24th of March.
MI caused a stir ahead of the tournament as they roped in cult hero Hardik Pandya from Gujarat Titans, in a big-ticket reunion as the all-rounder returns to the side that made him a star.
Pandya has also been named as the skipper to lead the side in the upcoming season despite the availability of team India captain Rohit Sharma, who has established his ability with the reins in his hand with multiple titles for the side from Mumbai.
The fixture marks the return of Pandya to Ahmedabad, as the 30-year-old faces off against his former team. The maverick all-rounder led Gujarat to the title in the 2022 edition, which was also the side’s inaugural campaign in the IPL. And considering the history, the fixture is set to be a fiery one.
MI, the five-time winners of the money-rich T20 franchise league tournament, are on par with CSK in terms of the number of titles, remain on the road as they travel to Hyderabad to take on Sunrisers Hyderabad on the 27th of March, before travelling to their home to host Rajasthan Royals on the 1st of April.
They will continue their stay in the Maharashtra capital city as they welcome Delhi Capitals on the 7th of April for their fourth fixture of the campaign.
