In an unexpected turn of events, Rajinikanth’s Thalaivar 170 co-star Ritika Singh got injured during a shoot. The actress disclosed that she sustained injuries while working on her upcoming project. Through an Instagram story, Ritika posted several photographs of her hand, clearly displaying injuries with traces of blood. “Looks like I got into a fight with a werewolf! FML,” she wrote while joking about it.
This immediately caught the attention of her followers, prompting concern and curiosity about the incident. In another video shared on the platform, Ritika opened up about the mishap. Upset, she recounted how despite warnings on set about the presence of glass, the unexpected happened. “They kept telling me, be careful, there’s glass there. They warned me but, it’s okay, it happens. You can’t control momentum sometimes, right? I think I lost control and then this s*** happened,” she shared.
While appearing remarkably composed despite the ordeal, Ritika acknowledged the severity of the injuries. “I am not feeling any pain right now, but I am sure this is going to hurt because some of these are quite deep. I am going from the set to the hospital to get a shot. I hope this gets better, and I can shoot tomorrow,” she added.
Ritika Singh, who rose to fame with her powerful performance alongside actor R Madhavan in 2016 Irudhi Suttru, has been making waves in the film industry. Ritika is also a trained mixed martial artist and has earned a dedicated fan base on social media.
