Salman Khan is currently enjoying the success of his latest release, Tiger 3. As of today, the movie is the fourth-highest grosser in 2023. It also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in an important role. Directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra, the film is surely living up to the popularity of its last two installments. With the box office success, Salman Khan has surely maintained his stature as one of the superstars in the industry. Interestingly, the actor himself does not want to recognise him to be a superstar.
In conversation with India Today, Salman said, “I have never felt like a superstar ever. My habits are not that of a superstar. The way I travel, the way I dress, there is nothing I do that speaks superstar. My mind is not tuned that way. Nothing about me is any superstarry.” He added he is just content with waking up in the morning, having a cup of coffee to start his day and giving his best.
While the film is doing well globally, Salman Khan aims to stay humble and not be driven into success. He said, “Never let success hit your head.”
During this interview, Salman Khan also stated that he hasn’t left his residence in 25-26 years to go out for dinners. He stated that he travels for work and his outdoor activities include sitting on his lawn or going to the farm. He stated, “My travel is home, shoot, hotel, airport, location, back home, and then to the gym. That’s it. I spend more time with my staff than my family.” The actor also stated that he doesn’t even go shopping and sometimes goes out to the nearest coffee shop with his mother.
Recently, a photo of Salman’s went viral because of the actor’s torn shoes. The photo shows him sitting on a bench with Tiger-3 co-star Katrina Kaif. He was dressed in a black polo shirt and pristine black trousers, along with a pair of worn-out black leather shoes. The leather on the front of the shoes could be seen peeling away, and one of them appears to have a major hole in it.
Tiger 3 is the third installment of the Tiger franchise, and was released in theatres on November 12 to coincide with Diwali. The film grossed approximately Rs 394 crore worldwide.
