The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) will begin the registration process for recruitment to various posts falling under Group II Services. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can visit the official website of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission at psc.ap.gov.in and apply for the vacancies. It is important to note that the last date to apply for the posts is January 10, 2024 (till 11:59 PM).
The notification has been issued by the commission to fill up a total of 897 vacancies in the commission. Out of the 897 vacancies, 331 seats are reserved for executive posts and 566 for non-executive posts.
APPSC GROUP 2 RECRUITMENT 2023: ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Age limit: The age limit to register for the exam is between 18 to 42 years of age. Candidates should note that age relaxation is provided to those belonging to reserved categories.
Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for group 2 vacancies must have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent qualifications from any recognised university/institution.
APPSC GROUP 2 RECRUITMENT 2023: STEPS TO APPLY
Step 1: Go to the official portal of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission at www.psc.ap.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the link available on the web page that reads, “APPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2023”.
Step 3: Once done, candidates will be redirected to a new page where they need to key in the registration details and log into their account.
Step 4: Fill out the application form as directed in the form.
Step 5: Scan and upload the essential documents in the prescribed size and format.
Step 6: Pay the prescribed fees and submit the application form.
Step 7: Download the confirmation page and print out a hard copy of the same for future records.
APPSC GROUP 2 RECRUITMENT 2023: APPLICATION FEES
Candidates applying for APPSC recruitment are required to pay Rs 360 as an application fee. However, candidates falling under Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Backward Class (BC), Physically Handicapped (PH) and Ex-Servicemen categories will have to pay Rs 110.
APPSC GROUP 2 RECRUITMENT 2023: SELECTION PROCEDURE
According to the notification, the recruitment will be held in three stages. The screening test for APPSC Group 2 Prelims Exam 2023 is scheduled to be held on February 25, 2024. Those who qualify for the prelims examination will be shortlisted for the Mains Examination. Candidates should note that the commission has not yet announced the date of the Main Examination as of now.
Candidates will have to go through a screening test, which will be an objective-type examination in OMR-based format in offline mode. However, the main examination would comprise OMR-based objective-type questions in offline mode or a computer-based test (CBT). Aspirants will then be shortlisted for the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) based on merit in the main written exam.
