Dots of Bharat @ 2047: Satish Kumar discussed the purpose and the five chapters of the book and the way it culminated into reality

The Swadeshi Shodh Sansthan (SSS) on Tuesday launched ‘Dots of Bharat @ 2047’, a book authored by Satish Kumar and Shiv Kumar at Samay-Yan Library at sector 8 R K Puram New Delhi on the premises of Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SJM).

Present at the event were Sanghtak of SJM Kashmiri Lal Ji, Sah-Sanghatak of SJM Satish Kuma, Sah-Sanyojak of SJM Dr Ashwani Mahajan, former NITI Ayog vice-chairperson Dr Rajiv Kumar, and Editor of Organizer magazine Praful Ketkar. Dr. Pradeep Chouhan of JNU was the moderator.

Satish Kumar discussed the purpose and the five chapters of the book and the way it culminated into reality. Ketkar discussed the relevance of “swa” integrating the concept of swadharm, swabhasha, swadeshi, swarajya, and swadhinta to swatantrata. He said that the new education policy and Swadehi concept will lead the nation to its due position.

Dr. Rajiv Kumar said that India has to set an example of development by increasing growth at the rate of decreasing carbon footprint and the world will follow us. “All of us have to think for the nation first and discard selfish interests from all aspects of life,” he said.

Describing India’s failure in Industrial Revolution 1 to 3, Mahajan said the world has acknowledged that Industrial Revolution 4 will be led by us. He illustrated the success story of our payment system and the competitiveness of the country which is reflected in our space mission and purchasing power parity. Kashmiri Lal gave a vote of thanks and asked the audience of the book to read between the lines to understand the message of the book.

The Swadeshi Jagaran Manch is a political and cultural organisation founded in 1991. It promotes national self reliance. The ‘Swadeshi Shodh Sansthan’, an initiative of Swadeshi Jagran Manch, aspires to fill the gap in public policy research domain. It describes itself as a Swadeshi think tank working in macro-economy, public policy and finance, banking, agriculture, infra, energy, textile, tourism, trade, manufacturing sectors.
