No matter how big of a foodie you are, there will always be a few food dishes that you will find too hard to digest. Meaning, everyone has that one dish, or maybe more, that they can never eat. Now, an anonymous Reddit user took to the micro blogging site and put forward a question which received endless answers by people. “What are some Indian dishes that no one actually likes?” the user asked.

From Karela to upma, people listed all of it. However, one person completely denied the question as he wrote, “There are no bad Indian dishes. Only badly cooked Indian dishes.” Agreeing to the statement, another person responded by saying, “Totally agree with this statement. Some of the most amazing dishes can be gag-inducing if cooked poorly. There’s also personal tastes. I generally don’t like masala dosa or idli because I got sick of having them as a child. But I’m not blind to the fact that others will fall over themselves to get a good masala dosa or will feel like idli is their comfort food. It’s just not my thing is all.”

One person also expressed his love for karela. He wrote, “I absolutely crave karela. I go out of the way to buy it frozen if I can’t find it fresh in the US. Thankfully, my local market carries it fresh. It depends on the preparation and I make it finger-licking good.”
Sharing another controversial pick, one user commented, “Rajma Chawal. People are forced to like and say good things about it due to peer pressure. In reality, no one really likes it.”
“Generic paneer gravy dishes served in weddings. No one likes them. It’s universal. Lol,” mentioned another person.
