The Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) tier 1 examination 2023 results. Candidates who took the exam can check their scores at ssc.nic.in. The SSC CGL tier 1 exam was held between July 14 and July 27. The SSC CGL 2023 recruitment drive is being conducted to fill around 7500 vacant positions.

As many as 81,752 candidates have cleared the exam. Names and roll numbers of candidates who have cleared the exam are mentioned in a pdf file on the SSC website. The commission has said that the results of 113 candidates have been withheld due to court orders. The answer key was released in August, and applicants were allowed till August 4 to raise objections against it for a charge of Rs 100 per question and challenge the answers.

As per the SSC CGL marking scheme, for every correct answer candidates will be awarded three marks. While for each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted from the final score in Section-I, Section-ll, and Module-I of Section-Ill of Paper-I, and 0.50 mark will be deducted from the final score in Section-ll and Section-Ill of Paper-I.

Step 1: Go to ssc.nic.in

Step 2: On the SSC’s website, find the result link

Step 3: A new webpage will be opened with the login window.

Step 4: Enter your SSC CGL 2023 login information, including your password and registration number.

Step 5: The result will appear on the screen.

Step 6: Download the result and take a print out for future use.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2023: What’s Next?

Those who clear the exam will be allowed to appear for the SSC CGL tier-2 examination 2023. It will be held on October 25, 26, and 27 in online mode comprising objective-type questions.

The tier 2 exam will be divided into three papers — paper 1, paper 2, and paper 3. All candidates are required to attempt paper 1. Candidates who are interested in applying for the Junior Statistical Officer post will have to appear for paper 2, while those who want to apply for the Assistant Audit Officer, and Assistant Accounts Officer positions will have to appear for paper 3.
