Raipur: The politics over a young man's suicide outside Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh's house is heating up. Chhattisgarh Janata Congress leader Ajit Jogi has released a video saying he has been put under house arrest by the government after his party called for a state-wide bandh on Thursday.
"I, along with my party members have been put under house arrest. I am not being allowed to step outside the house. There are police officials surrounding my house. Raman Singh has put me under arrest, yet there are goons/murderers/anti social elements roaming free," Jogi said.
There is no response from the people to the bandh call.
A young man had immolated himself outside Raman Singh's residence in Raipur following which Congress and Ajit Jogi's Janata Congress have slammed the state government.
