The Cabinet meet comes in the wake of the endorsement of the creation of Telangana by the UPA on Tuesday.
New Delhi: A special meeting of the Union Cabinet has been convened on Wednesday apparently to discuss the issue of separate Telangana state. Sources said that a special Cabinet meeting has been called in but did not disclose the agenda.
UPA has endorsed the decision to create Telangana by diving Andhra Pradesh. However, the final decision will be taken by the Congress Working Committee.
A routine meeting of the Cabinet has been convened on Thursday.
