Mumbai: A complaint has been filed against Tehelka magazine in Mumbai after a recent cover story referred featured former Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray as terrorist.

The cover story also featured underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, 1993 Mumbai blasts convict Yakub Memon and Khalistani terror leader Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale. The magazine referred to all four as terrorists.

The complaint was filed by a member of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena

Bala Nandgaonkar said, "Tehelka magazine should be banned immediately. The editor Mathew Samuel should be arrested immediately. He has tried to create rift between two cultures."

Lawyer Rajendra Shirodkar said, "The police should file a case against Tehelka- the editor should be arrested under non-bailable offences."
