Congress-BJP gap over Insurance Bill narrows down

New Delhi: The differences between Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party have narrowed over proposed amendments in Insurance bill and clause by clause discussion is taking place in the Select Committee, the sources said.

According to the sources, a draft report of the Insurance laws amendment bill to be circulated on December 8 in the Select Committee.

In November, Rajya Sabha extended deadline for the Select Committee on the Insurance Amendment Bill and asked it to submit the report by December 12.
