New Delhi: In a veiled attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's pet theme 'Make in India', Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said the goal cannot be achieved without 'Making India'. Kejriwal said "pro-people" policies similar to ones

"initiated by the AAP government," were important to 'Make India'. He also emphasised on investing in health, education, infrastructure, water, justice and safety. "'Make India' is to invest in Health, Education, Water, Safety, Justice and infrastructure. People are our best asset."

"Invest in them and world will follow us. "Pro-people power policy of AAP govt is a step towards 'Make India'. All doubts on power front have evaporated in front of honest governance," Kejriwal said on micro-blogging site twitter.

The Delhi chief minister was also referring to the electricity tariff which was not hiked by the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) last week.

He said, once we 'Make India' then the world will automatically start following 'Make in India'.

"Simple but important point - Lets all first 'Make India'. And the world will automatically start 'Making in India'," he tweeted. 'Make in India' is an initiative of Modi to woo investors and manufacture in India.

He also lauded AAP volunteers for their initiatives in curbing dengue. Yesterday, the party announced that it has procured 40 fumigating machines which will be pressed into service across different constituencies of the national capital.

"I am proud of AAP volunteers who are helping people fight dengue on the streets of Delhi," he tweeted.
